Privacy of your course materials
- Who can see the documents I upload?
- Only you. Lecture notes, handouts, textbook pages and photographs stay in this browser on this device. They are not uploaded to a shared library and no other student, lecturer or administrator can open them.
- Are my notes used to train an AI?
- No. When you ask Lex a question, the relevant text is sent for that one answer and then discarded. Your materials are never used to train or improve any AI model.
- How long are documents kept?
- For as long as you want them. Nothing expires on its own and nothing is archived elsewhere. They remain until you delete them or clear this browser.
- Can I delete them permanently?
- Yes. Delete a single item on the Course Materials page, or wipe everything below. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.
